Tax exemption, Subject to certain conditions, for ten years on production of some selective IT (Information Technology) hardware [motherboard, casing, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), speaker, sound system, power supply, USB (Universal Serial Bus) cable, CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) and pen drive ] if manufactured in Bangladesh. Conditions include registration with BIDA (Bangladesh Investment Development Authority), at least 30 percent value addition in its own factory, and commencement of commercial production within 30 June 2030.
